Recipe Description
Joining friends for a zoom Christmas cocktail party, we decided to bring one globalist-themed cocktail each. UN-blue came to mind, so a bottle of blue curaçao in hand, I set out to make something tasty despite the distasteful theme. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients
-
2 ounces coconut rum
Try to find something good like Koloa. -
3/4 ounce blue curaçao
Drillard's makes a respectable one. -
3/4 ounce lime juice
fresh squeezed, of course -
1/4 ounce simple syrup
I sub out keto syrup, but I just heard monkfruit is used to sterilize human beings in some places so maybe lay off that stuff - unless being sterilized is your goal!
Preparation
Put a coupe or similar glass in the freezer & be sure to have a giant ice ball on hand if you can.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake thoroughly until very cold.
Service
Remove glass from freezer. Gently place ice sphere in glass.
Strain drink over ice sphere.
Enjoy!
